Growing up in Hong Kong—a true crossroads where East meets west, immersed me in a dynamic culinary landscape from day one. That foundation shapes everything I do: an instinctive fluency across a vast spectrum of global cuisines, paired with a deep appreciation for the technical craft behind the plate.

True food styling requires a foundational understanding of cooking science and culinary mechanics. Because I am trained in the kitchen as well as the studio, I understand how ingredients behave under heat, how textures hold up under studio lights, and how to build visuals rooted in real gastronomy. My work is driven by a minimalist philosophy: every component must serve a clear, functional purpose. I reject superficial decoration in favor of intentional design, whether that is shaping a brand identity, conceptualizing a menu, or composing a frame for editorial and commercial campaigns.
